Some of my most memorable commissions have involved restoring family heirloom wedding dresses to their former glory - updating and revamping them to give them a new lease of life.

 

Shown here is Clemmie in an Edwardian wedding dress which had been in her family for as long as she could remember. We kept the essence of dress but refashioned it to bring it right up to date - removing the sleeves, adding a train, repairing and adjusting until it fitted Clemmie like a glove.

The results were stunning, a truly unique and contemporary statement piece.
