MEET SARAH
Sarah Treble graduated from St Martins College of Art with a BA in Fashion Design. Her experience in the haute couture world in Europe, firstly as head fashion designer for Valentino in Italy, then for Daniel Hechter and Paul Costelloe saw her moving from Rome to Paris and London for many seasons.
Starting her own studio and label in London in 1999, Sarah began designing and making couture garments and wedding dresses for private clients. Moving from her London atelier to her lovely studio in Devon in 2009 - the Sarah Treble Couture Collection is now situated in a huge Georgian house overlooked by the beautiful cathedral in Exeter.
Concentrating on bespoke wedding dresses and evening wear, all of which are individually hand made at the studio, Sarah likes to combine innovative processes (e.g. digital printing and laser cutting) with age old couture methods (hand embroidery and bespoke lace-making).
Each commission is totally unique and the process provides an unforgettable experience for the client.
Over the years Sarah has built up a network of artists and craftspeople from all areas of the creative fashion world. Whether it be fabric design, embroidery, millinery, print or other new, innovative techniques… they are all experts in their field.
Drawing on their skills and her years of experience as an accomplished couturier, Sarah will create a unique and beautiful outfit, which is perfect for you.
