Managing cookies

Our website cookies remain for 6 months after your visit. Mailchimp and Sharing cookies will remain for up to one year. Our site is secured with an SSL certificate (it stands for Secure Socket Layer – which basically means that our site is protected with encryption.) This makes it hard for anyone to access our site inappropriately (e.g. hacking). This protects your cookie information from being accessed by third parties. However, as with all cookies, should someone illicitly collect them and combine them with other information they may be able to build a profile of you which includes personal information. You can change your cookie settings and remove already stored cookies through your web browser. However removing or disabling cookies can affect the functionality and prevent you from using certain parts of the website. You may also remove consent for cookies at any time.

Our Privacy Policy

We are committed to keeping your information secure and private. This policy tells you what information we collect on our website and why, how we keep it safe, how we use that information, who we share that information with and what your rights are.

The information we collect

With all cookies on this site personal information is not contained in the cookies, however, it may be possible to use the information in combination with other data to build a personal profile. This is why we secure our site to prevent malicious access.

Social Sharing

If you use the social sharing buttons on our blog, some information will be collected by the social platform and their cookies will remain on our website. We use encryption on our website to help prevent access to these cookies.

In order to share, you will need to have an account with the social platform you use, and therefore will have already agreed to their terms for privacy and the use of cookies. Privacy and cookie information for the sites we connect to is here:
