VICTORIA

As the name suggests, this dress was inspired by the sumptuous style of the Victorian era, the integral bustle giving it its distinctive silhouette. The bodice and sleeves are made from beautiful soft gold metallic lace, with a deeply plunging back neckline. The lace motifs are also appliquéd onto the draped organza overskirt. The waist is accentuated with a hand beaded belt with floor length sage velvet ties. The overall impression is elegant, regal …. and seductive.

LILY

The elegant simplicity of this column dress is given another dimension with the addition of bold hand printed lilies. The heavy silk crepe falls beautifully creating the slim, figure -skimming silhouette. The back is cut daringly low, with a little bow fastening between the shoulder blade. A dress of surprises

ADRIENNE

A Deco inspired dress. The bold Guipure lace with its intricate scalloped edge gives a contemporary feel to this design. Softly draped lace capped sleeves and cut-away tie fastening, along with a long row of satin buttons create a stunning all important back view to this show stopper.

JASMINE

The most delicate Chantilly lace is used to create the lightest of sleeves and demure high neck on this design. The intricate wrapping and ruching of the lace over the bodice is incredibly flattering. The waist is emphasised with a long silk ribbon, tied at front or back. The skirt is made from softly gathered Crepe-de-Chine with partially hidden lace panels…. walking or dancing will reveal them fully! A long row of glass ball buttons right down the back add the finishing touch to this “not so innocent” dress.

EDIE

This dress has an Edwardian look to it, with its high lace collar and full sleeves. But the bared shoulders and revealing back give it a thoroughly modern twist. The dress is made from oyster pink silk satin with an oval Raschel lace overlay. the lower sleeves are made from strips of Nottingham edging lace, meticulously sewn together to create a fabric….another contemporary touch.

DAISY

Scattered white embroidered daisies around the neckline bodice and sleeves along with the subtle empire line and soft gathering under the bust  all combine to give “Daisy” a sweet feminine simplicity. Whilst the luxurious silk crepe falling into a voluminous circular train adds a touch of drama to this regency inspired dress.

DR ZHIVAGO

Dr Zhivago is made from layers of diaphanous silk organza and tulle.

Each dress is appliquéd with antique lace, so no two dresses will ever be the same. The collar in the dress pictured here is an original Victorian collar made from Honiton lace. Tiny antique jet buttons form the centre back fastening.

KAITLIN

A ballerina inspired design. Featuring an intricately corseted silk bodice and full silk organza and taffeta skirts over netted, hooped petticoats. The bodice is embellished with hand sewn floral motifs, which climb organically over the shoulders and down the back. A dress you will want to dance in.

ORCHID

In Japanese culture the orchid is the symbol of love and wealth. This Japanese inspired dress is adorned with hand made silk orchids in subtle shades of blue and grey. The dress itself is made from ivory silk taffeta. The narrow , double layered draped skirt echoing the lines of a Japanese kimono. Partially backless, the bodice is secured with silk ties, printed to match the orchids. An elegant, sophisticated dress with ancient and modern influences.
